Each year, residents within the
Libertyville Fire response area
receive a letter from us requesting
donations. 2011 was our third annual
mailing. Please know that this
mailing is done at our expense and
100% of the proceeds are used to buy
necessary equipment and training
that would otherwise be unavailable
due to budget restrictions. Below
you will find a copy of our 2011
letter, information on donating and
pictures of some of the equipment
our Local was able to purchase due
to your generosity.
November 2011
We are the Libertyville Professional
Fire Fighters Association, a
nonprofit organization made up
of the full-time certificated fire
fighter/paramedics who serve and
protect the citizens of Libertyville
and the communities covered by the
Libertyville Fire Protection
District. You may have seen us at
this year's Fire Department Open
House, at lunch in Cook Park or at
your children's school doing fire
safety education.
Once again, the LPFFA and its
members are asking for your
support. Last year’s response was
overwhelming and greatly
appreciated.
Your
generous contributions were used for
the purchase of lighter and more
efficient firefighting hose to be
carried on all of our fire apparatus
and a portable tank to assist in
areas with low water pressure or no
hydrants, as can be seen with the
pictures to the right.
Our goal is to continue this
longstanding tradition by providing
funds to improve the quality of your
paramedic services, for the future
purchase of needed equipment, for
the protection of your property and
for the safety and education of you,
your children and the citizens of
the Libertyville community. We ask
for your support in achieving this
goal.
